Pulping or destoning?
Match the machine to the hard bodies. DJ pulpers divide primary separation and finishing between two chambers. Large-stone fruit needs a qualified stone-removal duty before fine screening.
01 / DJ series · five catalogue sizes
Pulp or puree from the two screened stages, with retained peel, seeds and fibre discharged separately.
Prepared feed Prepared, washed or softened fruit within the agreed stone, size and temperature envelope; direct whole-fruit feeding is material-specific. View machine details ↗ 02 / Dedicated stone handling
Coarse pulp, separated stones and retained peel/fibre; downstream refinement depends on the finished product target.
Prepared feed Mango or another specifically tested stone fruit at an agreed size, maturity, temperature and preparation condition. They are edits based on actual workshop photographs, not exact-model or customer-installation records; confirm the exact model, dimensions and tested duty in your quotation.
Functional cutaway / principle illustration
Follow the feed, product and reject This schematic shows one screened separation chamber. A DJ two-stage duty repeats the separation on the first accepted stream.
Screened pulping principle, not an assembly drawing Prepared feed enters on the left. Paddles move it along a perforated screen; through-screen product collects below, while retained solids leave the right outlet. Geometry and motion are illustrative. Screens, wear and changeover
Specify the parts around the product. Compare screen apertures Review relative openings, loading and the texture checks to keep with a screen trial.
Compare apertures ↗ Keep replacement identity Order by stage, basket drawing and matching assembly rather than aperture alone.
Specify a replacement screen ↗ Plan service access Define screen removal, rotor inspection, isolation and the parts list before a shutdown.
Maintenance and spares ↗ Start with your fruit
Different materials. Different separation duties. Stone handling before final pulp refining.
Separate seeds and skin from prepared tomato.
Evaluate seed separation and puree texture.
Define seed retention and prepared extraction.
Finish prepared, peeled and deseeded flesh.
Specify peeled feed and the puree target.
Machine structure
Six parts that define the duty. 01 Present a controlled material stream to the separation chamber without hiding the upstream preparation duty.
02 Move material against the screen with a defined mechanical action while transporting retained solids towards discharge.
03 Provide the separation surface through which the desired product fraction passes.
04 Remove retained solids as a distinct measured stream without treating dryness alone as success.
05 Capture and transfer the through-screen stream while preserving an identifiable sampling boundary.
06 Support the defined rotor duty and planned maintenance access without using installed power as a stand-alone performance claim.

A single recovery number cannot show whether seeds were damaged, useful pulp was thrown away, or the feed boundary changed between runs. A paired product-and-reject sample can.

Two-stage pulping can separate a coarse duty from a finer finishing duty. It also adds a transfer boundary, another screen and another cleaning task. The right choice follows the product brief, not the chamber count.
